Gillian enjoys team shooting and is indeed no stranger to it as this will be her third Palma Match. She represented her birth land, Zimbabwe, in the 1999 Palma in Bloemfontein, South Africa, and then shot for her adopted home, Australia, in the 2003 Palma at Bisley in England. After representing Queensland in the National Teams Matches in 2004, Gillian was a member of the victorious Australian Team at the Australia Match held in Brisbane in 2005.
A fifth generation shooter, Gillian won two Zimbabwean President’s Prizes and most recently she won the Duncan lead up and Grand Aggregate at the Queensland Queen’s in August 2005.
Known for being somewhat of a socialite, Gillian is looking forward to re-uniting with old friends and forging new friendships in Canada. Gillian is self employed running a successful business with husband Darren. They have two sons, Dean and Matthew.
