Greg commenced shooting with the Postal Institute Rifle Club at Enoggera, Brisbane in July 1958. Since then he has been a member of ten clubs, six in Queensland and four in Western Australia. He has been involved in administration at all levels for most of his career.
Greg is a past Captain of his club, District delegate for his Association, and State delegate to the National Rifle Association of Australia. His goal in administration is to provide better conditions for club shooters and increase the national membership within the sport.
Individually, Greg has won four Grand Aggregates and a national Match Rifle title however his real passion is for team shooting. Greg has represented Western Australia over twenty times and been in seven Australian Teams, including wind coach for match rifle at Bisley and Lower Light. Greg has coached three Palma Matches at Bisley, Trentham, and Bloemfontein. Success for Australia is the driving force behind his involvement in these matches.
