John and his family have been living in the USA for four years and during this time John was employed by Chevron Products Company. John’s job allows him to travel extensively reviewing various aspects of aircraft refuelling operations around the world.
John describes the club scene of the US as quite different to typical Australian clubs but affirms that the nice thing about the sport of shooting is the tremendous feeling of camaraderie one finds amongst target shooters across the globe.
John has enjoyed various opportunities in representative teams at State and National level in Australia and brings around 30 years of experience to the team. Amongst his most memorable moments on the range John rates winning the Queen’s Prize at the Wellsford Range in Victoria in 1998 as the highest.
Apart from the competitive goals for this team, John is looking forward to spending some time with Aussie team mates old and new, and simply taking in the whole experience that comes with international matches.
