Matt has represented the New South Wales Country Team at both Under 25 and senior level for a number of years. He has won approximately 25 Queen’s badges with numerous top ten finishes, and over 40 lead up and Grand Aggregate badges. In addition to this Matt has won the Tasmanian Postal Championships and approximately 35 number one places in regional and rural prize meetings. Matt is thrilled to be apart of this Australian Team, his first, and is hoping to gain invaluable experience and contribute to the team’s success.
Apart from meeting his wife and establishing life long friendships on the range, Matt’s fondest memories of shooting are recording three wins in the New South Wales Champion of Champions competition.
Matt is a mixed grain and stock farmer in central-north New South Wales. Away from the range, he leads a quiet life and when time permits enjoys his favourite pastimes of fishing, watching movies and indulging an almost unhealthy adiction to Play Station and Retro Space Invader games! He is married to Jane and is the proud father of 10 month old Grace.
